You Can Now Add Music To Your Instagram Story

You Can Now Add Music To Your Instagram Story
Jun 14 2023 Share

Instagram has just introduced two new features for its Notes – the small text bubble which pops up next to your friends’ names in the DM page.

You can now share a 30-second clip of a song in your note, whilst also adding a caption to the music note to highlight your intention behind the share.

All you have to do is click the plus button by your profile photo on the DM page and you will find a music note where you’d normally create your note.

This will take you to a page similar to when you add a song to your Instagram story. You then select the 30 seconds you wish to share, add some text and you’re all set.

Instagram will also be allowing users to translate a Note by tapping it. You just need to tap the note and it’s all done. The Notes feature is pretty fresh in and of itself, having been rolled out in December 2022.

“Malta dejjem ġo qalbi”: Russell Crowe ahead of Valletta show

"Malta dejjem ġo qalbi": Russell Crowe ahead of Valletta show
Jun 14 2023 Share

World famous actor Russell Crowe issued a message to the Maltese ahead of his Indoor Garden party performance on June 17th.

This is the lead up to the Mediterrane Film Festival, which will bring together filmmakers, artists and enthusiasts from June 25th to 30th.

The party will be held at Pjazza San Ġorġ in Valletta and will see the Gladiator actor return once again to Malta, which the actor repeatedly called his second home.

‘Malta dejjem ġo qalbi’ said the actor. ‘Ejjew ħudu gost magħna. Saħħa.’ (Malta is always in my heart. Come have fun with us. Regards).

Should you want to see Maximus Decimus Meridius singing and wielding a guitar instead of a sword, you can purchase your tickets from here.

World’s Smallest ‘Louis Vuitton’ Bag Unveiled By MSCHF

World’s Smallest ‘Louis Vuitton’ Bag Unveiled By MSCHF
Jun 14 2023 Share

The creative collective MSCHF plan to unveil their Microscopic Handbag on Wednesday.

A speckle rendition of Louis Vuitton’s OnTheGo tote, the bag measures just 657 by 222 by 700 micrometers, making it small enough to pass through the eye of a needle and smaller than a grain of sea salt.

The fluorescent green bag’s translucent handles and Louis Vuitton monogram are only visible when magnified.

Of course, you won’t be carrying around anything in this unless you’re an ant (probably not even then).

Chief creative officer of MSCHF Kevin Wiesner said that this is a commentary on the impracticality of ever-shrinking luxury handbags. He said that bags went from functional objects to basically jewellery.

The OnTheGo Tote (the normal sized one) costs around $3,250.00 on the Louis Vuitton website. We don’t know how much this microscopic bag will cost. But we won’t be surprised if it’s something completely mind-blowing.

On this Father’s Day, let us remember not only these popular local dads, but our very own heroes at home. They serve as a reminder that being a father is all about the love, support, and devotion they bring to their families. So, today and everyday, don’t forget to express gratitude to the dads who work tirelessly to create a better future for their children.

Happy Father’s Day!
