As the eagerly awaited premiere of Warner Bros. Pictures’ Wonka approaches, Xbox is celebrating the iconic chocolatier’s comeback with a unique gaming experience.

In an unprecedented sweepstakes starting November 13, fans have the chance to win an edible Xbox Controller crafted entirely from 100% pure chocolate and adorned with a signature gold wrapper.

Designed with a custom burgundy-colored aesthetic inspired by Wonka’s classic coat from the film, the chocolate controller includes five additional truffles crafted to enhance the Xbox gaming experience with Wonka-inspired flavors.

These include “Achievement Hunting” with energy-boosting ingredients, “Button Smasher” infused with espresso, “Your Citrus Sidekick” featuring orange notes inspired by Xbox Game Pass titles, “Xtra Kick” blending sweet and spicy elements, and “Wonka for the Win” made of 100% pure chocolate.

Beyond the chocolate delights, Xbox has created a movie-inspired Xbox Series X and storefront display for select sweepstakes winners. The limited-edition console mirrors Willy Wonka’s chocolate store, though, unlike the edible controller, the gaming system is not intended for consumption.

To participate in the Wonka-themed sweepstakes for these delectable prizes, enthusiasts can enter by following Xbox on X (formerly Twitter) and retweeting the company’s official sweepstakes tweet. The giveaway runs from November 13 to December 14, leading up to the premiere of the Timothée Chalamet-starring film on December 15.

Taking to social media, Nationalist MP Alex Borg reiterated his appeal for authorities and the police force to take proper and further action when it comes to crime in Gozo.

Sharing images of a broken-into car as well as bloody pavements following what were reportedly violent altercations.

‘We are far from the utopia of a Gozo of villages’, wrote Alex Borg on Facebook. He critiqued police commissioner Angelo Gafà for only providing statistics on robberies and not criminal reports.

Borg invited the police commissioner to visit Marsalfron and Xlendi along with him and to listen to what the residents there have to say.

‘Let them convince you what their worries are as they did to me whilst forcing you to understand that you have a twisted perception of reality coming from sitting behind a desk.’
