The ambitious initiative was led by Ristoworld Italia and coordinated by master pastry chef Lillo Defraia, who orchestrated the meticulous preparation of the extended cannoli in Corso Umberto. This free transport initiative caters to individuals aged 60 and above, as well as those with disabilities impeding the use of public transport, showcasing AACC’s dedication to inclusivity.

This initiative revolutionised last-mile delivery, reducing fuel consumption, optimising routes, and embracing cleaner electric vehicles—a significant step towards sustainable and eco-friendly logistics in Malta.
