Malta has the second-highest COVID-19 testing rate in Europe
The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control has compiled and published data which illustrates COVID-19 testing rates per 100,000 people.
In this data, Malta’s rate stands at the second highest with 3,335.97 tests per 100,000 people, placing only second to Luxembourg’s 6,452.58 testing rate.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, health authorities have carried out 308,790 swab tests, with rapid tests to be introduced from October 28.

All ministers test negative for COVID-19
Insider sources have confirmed that all ministers were instructed to do a swab tests.
It is reported that all of the ministers’ swab tests turned out negative.
However, the same source has reported that there are multiple positive cases at the Office of the Prime Minister.
