The first of its kind, Islands8’s Maltese-crafted recipe is made from eight indigenous botanicals, hand-picked for their fragrant herbal aromas to give the gin a smooth, refreshing taste; the true taste of Malta. Born from the founders’ love of Malta’s rich culture and diverse flavours, the gin incorporates juniper berries & marjoram, thyme, rosemary, sage, dill, aniseed, fennel and mint to make a bold & tasteful choice for gin lovers & newcomers alike.

Islands8 is a truly distinctive gin, crafted to suit everyone’s tastes whilst offering a one-of-a-kind flavour, characteristic of the Maltese islands. Whether it’s a hard-earned sundowner on the rocks or a refreshing cocktail for a special occasion, Islands8 is for individuals who appreciate quality yet yearn for undiscovered magic; and this is your sign to try Islands8.

Mark Zammit Cutajar won the gold medal during the swim, whilst also winning silver in the 25m freestyle final and silver in the 25m medley final. He was an absolute star in the water, pulling off an amazing feat with insane positive energy.

The games kicked off on Saturday 14th May and will run until Wednesday 18th May. It is a time to show what the Maltese are truly made of and highlight inclusivity during the games.
