No Hot Water, No Jacuzzi & More Punishments For Big Brother Residents

No Hot Water, No Jacuzzi & More Punishments For Big Brother Residents
Jan 29 2025 Share

After days of contestants breaking the rules, Big Brother had finally had enough, and called all the residents for a dishing out of punishments.

The contestant tested the boundaries: they removed microphones for off-record conversations, invented code languages, whispered while others tried to sleep at night and discussed private diary room sessions.

To drive the point home, Big Brother played back footage of their offences. Instead of showing remorse, some housemates laughed at their own antics, which likely did little to help their case.

As a result, strict consequences were put in place. The jacuzzi was immediately off-limits, hot water would be unavailable for the next 48 hours, and all forms of entertainment, including games, were removed for the rest of the week.

On top of that, their usual stocked kitchen was replaced with only the most basic grocery supplies.

Big Brother made it clear that this was more than just discipline—it was a final warning. If the housemates continued to disregard the rules, they wouldn’t just face restrictions. They could face eviction.

Attard Could Get A New Speed Camera

Attard Could Get A New Speed Camera
Jan 29 2025 Share

During a recent parliamentary session, PN MP, Charles Azzopardi, asked the Minister for Transport, Infrastructure and Public Works, Chris Bonett, whether he could consider putting a speed camera in Triq in-Nutar Zarb, in Ħ’Attard.

The reason Azzopardi proposed this is due to the fact that many trucks and cars have been passing  in the direction of Rabat towards Valletta with excessive speed.

The Minister replied that there is a request for a repeater speed camera further down the same road and that such request is being evaluated by the Authority.
