Officials within the Malta Police Force experienced quite the wholesome moment this weekend as a few children stopped the officers in the streets of Nadur to snap a photo.

In a post published on The Malta Police Force’s Facebook page, Malta’s police stated “If your kid is dressed as a police officer, feel free to stop us for a photo during our patrols and send us the photos via messenger or upload them on FB using hashtag #maltapolice and we’ll gladly share them on our stories over this weekend.”

The police went on to appeal to the public to respect one another and enjoy responsibly as day 2 of carnival celebrations begin in Malta & Gozo.

Festivities are set to start in Nadur this afternoon at 5.30PM after a busy first night on Friday.

The body of Ghanaian professional footballer and former Newcastle United winger Christian Atsu has been found dead in the aftermath of the earthquakes which hit Turkey and Syria on February 6.

According to one of the footballer’s representatives, Atsu’s body was found in the ruins of the building where he lived in Turkey after the earthquakes that occurred on February 6.

Atsu had been missing since the earthquakes and was mistakenly reported as hospitalised last week. His agent expressed deep sorrow and extended condolences to Atsu’s family and loved ones.

The agent also thanked those who supported and prayed for Atsu and asked for privacy for the family during this difficult time. Atsu had played for several Premier League teams, including Chelsea, Bournemouth, Everton, and Newcastle, after joining Chelsea in 2013 and being sent on loan to Dutch club Vitesse.

On February 6, 2023, earthquakes hit both Turkey and Syria, resulting in significant damage and loss of life. The initial earthquake measured 7.3 on the Richter scale and was followed by several aftershocks. The earthquakes triggered a large-scale rescue and recovery effort, with many people still missing and the death toll continuing to rise.

Feb 18 2023 Share

Margot Robbie has appealed to the public to not engage in sexual activity in huge piles of cash after reporting that a scene in The Wolf Of Wall Street gave her “a million paper cuts”.

The Australian actress, who famously starred in Martin Scorsese’s film surrounding the story of former millionaire stockbroker Jordan Belfort, stated that real money in much softer than fake film set money.

Back in 2017, Robbie was reported telling The Daily Beast “[She] got a million paper cuts on my back from all that money! It’s not as glamorous as it sounds.”

“Maybe real money is a bit softer, but the fake money is like paper, and when I got up off the bed, I turned around to get my robe and everyone gasped”, Robbie stated, going on to tell the interviews that her back was covered in scratches.

“The Wolf of Wall Street” is a 2013 biographical black comedy directed by Martin Scorsese, starring Leonardo DiCaprio. The film is based on the true story of Jordan Belfort, a stockbroker who became wealthy through fraud and corruption. It was a commercial success, grossing over $392 million at the box office worldwide.
