WHO experts to meet Chinese experts in Wuhan about COVID-19 origin

Experts from the World Health Organisation are to meet Chinese experts in Wuhan today in order to start investigating the origins of the COVID-19 virus.

WHO is planning to meet with the first patients who were infected with COVID-19 and with the first medical practitioners who were involved in the pandemic.

Team members have been in quarantine for the past two weeks during which they started their investigation virtually.

Bridgerton is now Netflix’s biggest series ever!

Bridgerton has become the crown jewel of Netflix’s 2020-2021 season! Bridgerton premiered on Christmas Day, 2020 and up until now, it has hit a record of views of 82 million households.

82 million households, means that a total of 82 million Netflix accounts have watched at least two minutes of Bridgerton. Accounts with multiple users are on counted once.

A Netflix blog post has revealed that Bridgerton has made the top 10 in 83 countries excluding Japan. This success has propelled the Bridgerton books into the New York Times bestseller list for the first time in the 18 years since their publication.

Two foxes found dead in Ħaż-Żebbuġ

Two foxes were found dead in Ħaż-Żebbuġ close to the previous building associated with the River of Love.

One of the foxes was white in colour and the other was black, as reported by One News.

More details are being awaited.

Local politician and journalist; Joe Micallef Stafrace passes away at the age of 88

Joe Micallef Stafrace who was formerly a Labour Minister passed away the age of 88.

The Malta Labour Party said in a Facebook post that, “this is a loss of a patriot who loved the freedom of expression”. They also mentioned the hardships he faced in the past and how he always fought for he believed was right.

May you rest in peace, Joe Micallef Stafrace.
