White House Promotes Theory That Covid Was Man-Made

America Promotes Theory That Covid Was Man-Made
Apr 19 2025 Share

The White House has launched a controversial overhaul of its Covid website, now spotlighting the theory that the virus originated from a Chinese laboratory.

Once dismissed as a conspiracy, the lab-leak hypothesis has gained traction, with U.S. agencies like the FBI backing it to varying degrees.

The redesigned site prominently features President Donald Trump and criticiSes pandemic-era policies under Joe Biden, including mask mandates and lockdowns. It also targets former White House medical adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci for supporting a natural origin theory.

A dedicated section outlines arguments for a lab origin, pointing to Wuhan’s virology lab and concerns about biosafety. The site also accuses past health officials of censoring alternative Covid treatments through coordination with social media companies.

The update comes amid widespread layoffs at federal health agencies as the Trump administration begins a major restructuring, framed as a shift toward chronic disease prevention.

While some applaud the transparency push, others warn it could distract from ongoing public health efforts.
