Addressing a press conference today in regards to easing of COVID-19 measures, it was revealed by Prime Minister Robert Abela, Deputy Prime Minister Chris Fearne and Superintendent for Health Charmaine Gauci that June is the target to reintroduce weddings and tourism in Malta.
The 1st of June is a target as the easing of health mitigations will determine whether tourism and weddings will be allowed to occur by that date. The health authorities stated that depending on how the new easing of measures is dealt with, the possibilities of weddings and tourism in summer will be analysed and decided upon.
