Watch the moment the Paceville apartment block known as Tania Flats collapsed.
The collapse took place last week, with around 32 people safely evacuated before this took place.
The collapse left the Paceville street covered in dust, with various videos on social media showing the aftermath of the avoided tragedy.

‘The BCA and the Occupational Health and Safety Authority (OHSA) had already inspected the site and issued a stop notice on 10 June after identifying serious structural problems.’
Since then, the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) and Civil Protection Department (CPD), along with other entities, completed the controlled demolitions of structures adjacent to the collapsed building.
This was part of an effort to ensure further safety, with more residents evacuated and given temporary residences as the work was carried out.
The site will be cleared in the coming days and the road reopened to the public with careful monitoring.
