WATCH: River of Love pastor claims a girl’s blurry vision was healed by God

River of Love pastor claims a girl’s eyes were healed by God
Feb 18 2022 Share

A new video published by Maltese Christian group River of Love alleges that an 11-year-old girl was healed from blurry vision by God.

Head pastor Gordon Manche explained how on October 2021, during one of their weekly meetings of their fellowship, God gave sight to a young girl by the name of Samira Farrugia.

He, along with his Christian fellowship, shared the testimony as proof of a miraculous occurrence within their church. In the video, Samira is asked about how the divine intervention changed her life.

The little girl alleged how before the meeting she had to use glasses as her vision was blurry. ‘We prayed; the pastor prayed with me and I started seeing clearly since then’ she said.

The River of Love fellowship was under considerable fire in the first month of this year following the Paulina Dembska murder. This was due to the murder suspect Abner Aquilina having been reportedly attending meetings of the church.

Aquilina had also stated that he was a soldier of God and that he was hearing different frequencies from the devil. The police did later confirm that Aquilina had attended the meetings, but Manche distanced the group from Aquilina.

Ajay Shrestha’s family and friends seeking answers after Marsa tragedy

Ajay Shrestha’s family and friends seeking answers after Marsa tragedy

The tragic death of Nepali food-delivery motorcyclist Ajay Shrestha shook the island, and now friends and family are seeking answers about the accident.

The 28-year-old was killed when a truck overturned in Marsa, hitting a pole which in turn killed Shrestha. The relatives are calling for the release of his body for repatriation so that love ones can start preparations for the Hindu funeral ritual which takes around 13-days.

Shrestha died Wednesday morning when the lorry’s load of scrap metal and a lamppost hit his Kymco Agility motorbike as he was making a food delivery in the opposite direction of Aldo Moro Road. Despite being taken to hospital, he unfortunately did not survive.

Speaking on social media, close family friend Aryan Khanal in Nepal spoke about the shock experienced by all his loved ones. He also revealed that Ajay was planning on visiting Nepal.

Ajay moved to Malta for work in 2018 and was living with Nepali friends in Msida. He celebrated his 28th birthday last week, and was a cricket player and coach.

Due to there being no Nepal Embassy in Malta, the Non-Residence Nepali Association Malta is currently in contact with counterparts in London. The release of the body is expected to take around two weeks, which is a very long time considering the funeral rite.

Johann Camilleri, from Camilleri Funeral Directors International, explained that the body can only be sent to Nepal once it is released by the magistrate carrying out the inquiry. Sources have revealed to Times of Malta newsroom that the autopsy should be carried out today as part of the inquiry to establish the exact cause of death.

The repatriation is expected to cost around €5,000 and is being funded by members of the Nepal community who are setting up a fundraiser with the food delivery company.

One of the platform’s larger series, Stranger Things, has teased their return this year, with the supernatural series releasing a set of posters which give some major hints on the future of Sheriff Harbor and his young friends.

It has been quite some time since we met with our protagonists, with production of season four kicking off in 2020 and running into some speed bumps due to overlapping projects and the coronavirus pandemic. Rest assured, the Stranger Things return will be one of the larger products in Netflix’s library.

The photo was posted on a verified Netflix account with the caption ‘001. Russia. Getting the band back together. Bring a jacket.’
