Pieta football supporters exploded in cheers as their favourite team managed to snatch a last minute draw during a very important match.

Pieta Hotspurs are currently competing in Malta’s Challenge League Group B and currently stand in second place with a very good chance of being promoted.

On the 4th of April they faced off against Tarxien, who occupy 4th place and sat just two point behind Pieta. A win would have meant that Tarxien would replace their second place ranking.

This seemed to be the case throughout the match as tensions rose with every kick and pass. However, this all changed in the 90th minute. As Tarxien enjoyed a comfortable lead throughout the whole play, Pieta Head Coach Paul Gatt brought in superb-sub Paul Lapira.

The player entered the 82nd minute and managed to change up the score during the dying minutes of the game. Lapira provided an assist to Daniel Zerafa in the 90th minute and then score one himself during the 94th.

The electrifying comeback just when all seemed lost meant that Pieta could hold their 2nd place as well as a massive double celebration for Pieta supporters in the stands.

With a brand new villa in Mallorca, news portal ‘The Sun’ was informed that schedules are being put together as we speak, meaning fans can expect a long and hot summer of fun and drama.

‘This series is going to be the longest ever and it’s from a brand new location so it’s all very exciting’ an insider source told the newsroom. The news of a brand new villa was confirmed by ITV back in February.

Contestants filmed at the same Majorcan property for five years, but producers went on the hunt for a new space on the island to spruce up the show. The new villa is set to be ‘marvellous’, as described by media directors.

Love Island’s 2021 finale saw 2.8 million viewers tuning in to see Liam Reardon and Millie Court crowned series champions. Given the cult-like fandom the show has now garnered, such a trend won’t be dying out anytime soon.

Will Smith banned from the Oscars for ten years after slapping Chris Rock
Apr 8 2022 Share

Will Smith has been banned from the Oscars gala and other Academy events for 10 years after he slapped presenter Chris Rock at the Oscars.

In a statement, The Academy said that the 94th Oscars ceremony had been “overshadowed by the unacceptable and harmful behaviour we saw Mr Smith exhibit on stage” , after Smith slapped Rock for joking about his wife’s shaved head – a result of the hair-loss condition alopecia. Less than an hour later, Will Smith was awarded the best actor award for his role in “King Richard”.

Smith has since apologised for his actions and resigned from the Academy.
