After weeks of anticipation and a lot of hype within the fitness community, Bulletproof’s Roll of Honors was finally shared with the Maltese public and Malta’s thriving fitness community received the praise it truly deserved.

The awards night celebrated some of the most hard-working, iconic and inspirational athletes in Malta’s fitness sphere, with a number of awards handed out to the worth recipients.Winners included record-holder Neil Agius for Most Bulletproof Individual of the Year, Yazmin Zammit Stevens for Athlete of the Year, Jake Vella for Most Inspiring Individual of the Year and Leanne Bartolo for Coach of the Year.
With regards to Rising Stars of the Year, Jeremy Zammit and Tenishia Thornton shared the prestigious award due to a tie while Liam Daly took home the title of Junior of the Year and Suzi Buttigieg claimed the title for Underrated Athlete of the Year. Jessica Borg Ghigo took home the gold for CrossFit Athlete of the Year while Rosalie Borg won the Most Improved Individual Award. Beyond the individuals, Bulletproof also celebrated Malta’s fitness communities, with Obstacle Course Academy voted Best Fitness Facility, The Grid Sprint voted Best Fitness Event and Silverback Netball voted Best Sports Team.
The award show also celebrated the life of the recently-departed and much beloved Victor Calvagna, who won Veteran of the Year, which also triggered a standing ovation amongst Malta’s fitness community during the award show.
