Minister for Gozo Clint Camilleri and PN candidate Chris Said are in agreement on the Malta-Gozo tunnel, stating that it is the ideal solution for the islands’ connectivity.

During TV programme Xtra, the Minister highlighted the fact that the Maltese voted for the tunnel and the party remains committed to it while Said stated that a fixed link is the ideal solution but Gozitans should have the final say after research is conducted. The PN MP went on to say that it is time that Gozo is recognised as a regional island in the constitution, where the PN would enact a Gozitan regional council elected by Gozitans.
