79-year-old United States President Joe Biden is making international headlines after being caught swearing at a reporter during a news conference.

In a reaction to Fox News’ Peter Doocy’s question whether or not inflation is a political liability, Biden stated “That’s a great asset – more inflation. What a stupid son of a b****.” The U.S. President probably did not realise that his microphone was on, with the equipment being turned off immediately after the reaction.

Doocy later explained that he did not even hear the president’s response and jokingly alluded to the fact that White House Communications Officials had been signalling that they were planning to take a different approach with reporters.

The reporter then stated that Biden called him on his phone to ‘clear the air.’

What do you caused the President to say such a thing?
