Matteo Piscopo, son of Mark ‘il-Lullu’ Piscopo, has left his father a heartfelt message after the recent announcement that the national football team kit manager and ‘heart and soul’ of the team passed away at age 52.

In a touching post paying tribute to his later father, Matteo Piscopo wrote that he still cannot believe that all of this is reality, calling his father a man above all others with a constant smile on his face. The young man praised his father for being a complete parent and doing his utmost to constantly make the one’s around him happy.

“In you I had found a sense of refuge and infinite love”, Piscopo wrote before going on to state that he aspires to leave as much as a positive effect as his father and garner the same amount of love and respect.

“You were like a beam of light in a dark room. I will never forget the beautiful memories I have with you. Thank you for everything you have done with myself and my dear mother. You did everything to always see us happy.”

RIP Mark.

Roberta Metsola meets Barack Obama in Copenhagen to remind world that "yes, we can"

World have collided at the Democratic Summit in Copenhagen after President of the European Parliament Robert Metsola met with former President of the United States of America Barack Obama.

In a recent post on her social media profiles, Metsola published a photo of herself and the former U.S. President engaging in what seems to be some light-hearted discussion, captioned with the phrase “Sometimes the world needs to be reminded that yes, we can.”

In her Summit address, Metsola once again confirmed the European Parliament’s total support of Ukraine’s request for EU candidate status. “Ukraine is already part of the European family. However, it is time for it to be given the real opportunity to join the European project”, Metsola stated as she sustained that the EU is a project of hope which not only aims to strengthen Europe, but more so Ukraine.
