The Malta Police Force has just advised the public that they are searching for a man involved in an ongoing investigation.

Taking to their Facebook page, the Police are requesting any information related to Thomas Camilleri, in relation to a case of breached bail.

The Malta Police Force has requested the public to come forward with any information by sending a PM on their Facebook page or by calling the Police General Headquarters, even in anonymity, on 21224001 / 119 by quoting case number 24/3023.

You Can Now Share Reels & Posts With Just Close Friends

Instagram users now have the option to share Reels and posts exclusively with their Close Friends, as announced by the Meta-owned social media platform on Tuesday.

This new tool introduces a significant shift in how users curate their feeds, ensuring that specific posts are visible solely to individuals on their Close Friends list, identifiable by the familiar green star icon associated with the existing feature.

Close Friends has been a favoured feature among Instagram users, serving as a protected space free from the inherent pressures of broader social media interactions. This tool enables users to share Stories and Notes selectively with a chosen group within their larger following. Notably, Close Friends can view each other’s usernames when engaging with shared posts.

With the latest update, users gain the ability to share an expanded range of content exclusively with their Close Friends, resembling the concept of “finstas” – private accounts where users traditionally posted content they didn’t want to share with everyone on their main feed.

The process involves selecting the Close Friends audience option before sharing a post, emphasising the platform’s commitment to providing users with more control over their content’s visibility and audience.

Metsola Meets Families Of Gaza Victims And Hamas Hostages

European Parliament President Roberta Metsola has met with the families of victims in Gaza as well as the relatives of hostages held by Hamas.

“In a statement, the Palestinian Authority expressed its appreciation to President Metsola for “reviving a credible political horizon, in order to pave the way for the implementation of a two-state solution” and commends her commitment to the principles of international humanitarian law and the preservation of international human rights law”, an official statement reads.

“Over the last days, President Metsola has held meetings with regional representatives, including the King of Jordan, the Israeli foreign Minister, the Palestinian Authority, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) – as well as with families of hostages who are being held by Hamas and with relatives of victims in Gaza, in an effort to find a way forward.”

“President Metsola expressed her and the European Parliament’s solidarity with innocent victims and the loss of life and called for a pause in hostilities to allow humanitarian aid into Gaza. She reiterated her call for the release of hostages and underlined the need for urgent de-escalation and respect for international law and a real perspective for peace in the region.”

The Parliament is set to hold a debate on the humanitarian situation in Gaza, the need for the release of hostages and a call for immediate humanitarian truce.

On her part, President Metsola emphasised the importance for Hamas to be stopped in order for Gaza to be governed by the legitimate representatives of the Palestinian people.

President Metsola reiterated that Hamas must not be allowed to operate with impunity and that they do not represent the legitimate aspirations of the Palestinian people.

An image uploaded to ‘It-Temp Madwarna’ shows Malta completely dry in the middle of November.

This comes after this summer recorded some of the hottest according to Met Office records, with relatively low rainfall taking place as winter started to kick in.

And the weather forecast for the next few days indicates a further lack of rainfall, with the first possible showers expected for Tuesday 21st November.
