Earlier today, Prime Minister Robert Abela addressed Malta’s future with regards to village feasts and summer in general.
Abela stated that the tourism sector, was amongst the most impacted by the pandemic, highlighting the government’s initiative to purchase the band clubs from their private owner sand enter into an agreement with the organisations to allow entitlement. The Prime Minister stated that he believes that “we will have a traditional and normal which means that people will be back to organising village feasts.”
He went on to appeal to those who have not yet received their vaccine or booster to do so as soon as possible so that society can return to normal as soon as possible.
