Why Help Bjorn Formosa and DAR Bjorn?

Bjorn has dedicated his life to helping others who are facing similar struggles. His mission? To create spaces where people with ALS and other neurological conditions can live with dignity and comfort.

Bjorn’s work has already led to the creation of DAR Bjorn, a home that offers care and support to those in need. But Bjorn’s vision doesn’t stop there. He’s on a mission to build DAR Bjorn Respite, the third incredible project in just nine years! This new project will provide temporary homes for people who need a safe and supportive place to stay. And guess what? This project kicks off in September 2024!

What is DAR Bjorn Respite?

DAR Bjorn Respite is going to be a game-changer. Imagine a place where people who need extra care can stay temporarily, whether they are recovering from an illness, need a break, or their families need some time to recharge. DAR Bjorn Respite will be that place – a safe haven filled with love, care, and support. It’s about giving people the help they need when they need it most.

How Can You Help?

On Sunday, September 22nd, ALS Malta is hosting the annual TV Telethon to raise funds for DAR Bjorn Respite. This is where YOU come in! Your donations will directly contribute to making this incredible project a reality. Every euro counts, and together, we can raise the funds needed to build DAR Bjorn Respite and continue Bjorn’s legacy of love and care.

The TV Telethon is not just about raising money – it’s about coming together as a community. There will be lots of entertainment, heartwarming stories, and special moments that will remind us all why helping others is so important. Plus, there will be plenty of opportunities to win prizes and join in on the fun!

SIMS Movie With Margot Robbie Confirmed In The Works

SIMS Movie With Margot Robbie Confirmed In The Works
Sep 18 2024 Share

A movie adaptation of the popular video game series The Sims has been confirmed by its publisher, Electronic Arts (EA).

The film will be produced in collaboration with Amazon MGM Studios, with Margot Robbie’s production company, LuckyChap, and Loki director Kate Herron involved.

British author and comedian Briony Redman will co-write the screenplay, having previously worked with Herron on Doctor Who and Sex Education.

Although EA has not yet provided many details, they promised updates next year, coinciding with The Sims’ 25th anniversary.

The life simulation game, developed by Maxis and launched in 2000, allows players to control the lives of virtual characters known as Sims. Over the years, the game has introduced expansions, including new features like relationship dynamics and supernatural elements.

Robbie, fresh from the success of the Barbie movie, aims to replicate that film’s success with The Sims adaptation, emphasizing the potential for bold, creative projects.

Her company, LuckyChap, is also developing a Monopoly movie and previously worked with Amazon on Saltburn, which was a major success on its Prime Video platform.
