Valletta FC have announced plans to celebrate their return to the top tier of Maltese football in grand style following their upcoming clash with Marsa FC.
In a statement, Club President Claudio Grech shared his excitement, saying: “As expected, emotions are running high as the Club prepares for what promises to be one of the most memorable days in our history. Saturday marks the end of a season filled with both triumphs and challenges that tested everyone involved. But those very challenges made us stronger—and Saturday will prove just that.”
Grech also reflected on last year’s shock relegation, which pushed the club to undergo a major transformation on an organisational, logistical, and financial level.
Fans across Malta and Gozo can expect a full day of celebration. Festivities kick off at 14:30 at the Ta’ Qali National Stadium with pre-match family entertainment, followed by the match against Marsa FC at 15:30. After the final whistle, Valletta will be officially presented with the BOV Challenge League Trophy.
The celebrations will then move to Republic Street in Valletta from 19:00, where supporters will continue the party in true Valletta FC style.
