Nazzareno Bonniċi, better known as Żaren tal-Ajkla, turned 65 years old this weekend!

MaltaDaily interviewed Żaren back in 2022 on the 27th of April, when he had just turned 63 years old.

Żaren has been contesting elections since 2013 as an independent candidate with his ‘Tal-Ajkla’ party.

Despite never being elected, Żaren has always inputted his name into the ballots, with his pledges often catching the public eye.

One of his more prominent proposals, which he put forth during the last general election, was that of a €4,000 grant for any woman who wishes to get breast implants.

This June, he will also be contesting the European Parliament elections.
