Wayne posted a TikTok sharing the moment he first heard the song being played on the radio as he was eating. Wayne gets emotional over the understandably big moment in his life, followed by a hug by his mother.

The 23-year-old singer-songwriter and practicing physiotherapist decided to pursue his passion for music after having put it off for a number of years due to shyness and fear.

Fabio’s 10 day Brazil triathlon cut short due to blisters and torn muscle

Fabio's 10 day Brazil triathlon cut short due to blisters and torn muscle

Fabio Spiteri, a Maltese ultra triathlete, had to end his 10 day triathlon in Brazil early after seven days due to suffering a torn muscle as well as painful blisters on his feet.

‘After a solid 7 days of racing ( 2nd overall standings ) and sky high determination, I will not be continuing my dream of completing the DECA, not this time round at least’, he wrote.

He described trying to continue as running on broken glass and that adjustments to accommodate the pain only caused more damage.

Feeling the ‘tear during the last 20k of the run, where I had to walk the remaining 22k in what was a very painful and long last few hours.’

He still however managed to overpass his last ultra challenge by an extra 2 ‘ironman’ races.

The Deca Ironman challenge, completed by only around 100 athletes around the world, is one of the globe’s toughest physical feats to undertake.

In his seven days, Fabio had managed to complete a 3.8K swim, 180km bike and 42km run every day.

His main target for completing the challenge was to raise 100k towards animal shelters in Malta and Gozo. ‘As unfortunate as this is, it is nothing more than a bump in the road which I will use as fuel to continue to challenge myself in the near future and continue to raise even more funds for abandoned animals.’
