The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees has stated that over 200,000 people have fled Ukraine and arrived in neighbouring countries amid the Russian attacks on the country.
The report sustained that numbers are updated constantly, with the United Nations previously suggested that as many as 4 million people may be displaced by the country’s conflict with Russia. Other reports have described the border between Ukraine and Poland as similar to a refugee camp while others have travelled to neighbouring countries like Hungary, Slovakia and Moldova.
Meanwhile, a Ukrainian presidential adviser has revealed that Ukraine “has destroyed half of Russian transport” which attempted to enter Kharkiv, the country’s second-largest city, on Sunday.
