Harry Styles reveals his sexuality doesn’t have a label

Harry Styles reveals his sexuality doesn't have a label
Apr 30 2022 Share

Pop superstar Harry Styles has stated that sexuality does not have a label, arguing that society should be heading towards a more accepting landscape with less labels.

Styles is no stranger to taking the stage in dresses, rainbow attire and waving Pride flags and, being the international star that he is, was under the microscope by fans with regards to his sexuality. In reaction to this, Styles has since reflected on such ‘labelling’ and called it outdated.

The ‘As It Was’ singer noted that he has been open with his friends on this issue, highlighting that sexuality is each individuals own personal experience. He also revealed that he has been working through issues related to dating, sexual identity and other intimate relationships – highlighting that he often “felt ashamed at the idea of people even knowing that [he] was having sex.”

The singer-songwriter is set to release his latest album Harry’s House on May 20th.

“The PN is becoming populist like Labour”, says former PN MP Edwin Vassallo

"The PN is becoming populist like Labour", says former PN MP Edwin Vassallo
Apr 30 2022 Share

In a recent Facebook post, former Nationalist Party MP Edwin Vassallo stated that the Nationalist Party is going to become populist like the Labour Party. These comments are a reaction to PN leader Bernard Grech’s sentiments on a recent airing of XTRA, where he addressed certain hot topics like abortion and euthanasia in Malta.

Vassallo, who had been a Nationalist Party MP since 1996 and also served as a Parliamentary Secretary, failed to get elected to Parliament in the last general election.

In his Facebook post, he said the day will come when the people must vote on abortion and the party’s decisions will be taken on how much votes they can garner, rather than if it is just or not. He went on to state that if the PN chooses to go down this road, it will become like the Labour Party and not care about the common good but about how many votes it can rake in.

Grech had shared a clip on Facebook to highlight that the PN statute is one “in favour of life”, going on to sustain that it is arrogant for any party to impose on the citizens what it thinks is good. “I want to change the way politics are conducted. I want politicians to listen and not dictate, I want politics from the people to the people, and not politics which imposes,” the PN leader stated.

What do you make of these statements?
