The UEFA Champions League Quarter Finals and Semi Finals draws have been completed yet again providing multiple exciting matchups on route to the final in Wembley. This was a special draw however as it will be the last ever draw as football fans know it due to the change in system.
The first matchup to be drawn was Arsenal vs Bayern Munich a rematch from 2017 where Bayern cruised past the Londoners with an aggregate score of 10-2. The other German side Borussia Dortmund were drawn against Spanish team Atletico Madrid.
An absolute blockbuster in Manchester City vs Real Madrid was also drawn. The two teams regarded by many as the two favourites have drawn each other many times in recent years with the two facing each other in the semi finals of the last two editions. The last matchup to be drawn was Kylian Mbappe’s team PSG vs Spanish giants Barcelona.
After the quarter final draw was concluded the semi final draw was done with the winner of Atletico Madrid vs Borussia Dortmund facing the winner of PSG vs Barcelona dubbed as the underdog bracket whilst the winners of Arsenal vs Bayern Munich and Real Madrid vs Manchester City will face each other for a spot in the final.
