High temperatures to concoct intense autumn storms for Malta

High temperatures to concoct intense autumn storms for Malta
Aug 10 2021 Share

Maltese weather forecasters have reported that the extremely high temperatures are set to draw in massive autumn storms for the island. As cooler air from Europe will start to make its way towards the centre of the Mediterranean, the intermixing of airs will lead to greater weather instability over the Maltese islands.

The storms could also result from an increase in sea temperature as it reaches up to 29 degrees Celsius, 2⁰C higher than the average for this time of year. Beachgoers have already started to notice this, as the waters do not offer the full cooling respite from the heat they usually do. With night temperatures finding it difficult to cool down, the minimum temperatures will stay on a 25 to 27 degrees Celsius continuum. There are no current storm predictions for this upcoming week, with the thunderous weather still ramping up slowly.
