After losing the 2021 election, Donald Trump has claimed in his first statement after leaving the White House that he does not exclude the possibility of re-running for President in 2024. Trump began his Conservative Political Action Conference in Orlando speech by asking whether his presence as President is being missed, to which the audience applauded. He went on to criticise both Joe Biden and members of the Republican Party who wanted to impeach him.
Trump had managed to survive an impeachment hearing in the Senate after being held accountable for the Congress building storming on January 6th. With the Republican Party divided about whether Trump would succeed in 2024, he told his cheering fans that he might decide to beat them for a ‘third time’. The alleged second victory he mentions is his false claim of winning in 2020.
