In an emotional Instagram video, rapper Travis Scott spoke out about the Astroworld tragedy which say the loss of eight lives.
On Friday November 5th in Houston Texas, massive amounts of people part of a 50,000 crowd surged forward towards the stage, killing eight and with police allegedly treating as many as 300 for minor injuries.
Adding to his previous statement to send out prayers to the ones lost during the concert, Scott said that his team is working to identify the families and help assist them through this tough time.
‘You know, my fans really mean the world to me and I always want to leave them with a positive experience. Anytime I can make out anything that’s going on, you know, I stop the show and you know, help them get the help they need. I could just never imagine the severity of the situation.’
Footage also emerged showing pregnant mother of his children Kylie Jenner watching the concert. In a riser alongside her sister Kendall Jenner, Kylie appeared to have a serious demeanour as the events unfolded.
She also stated that she and Scott hadn’t been aware of any fatalities until after the 75-minute set was over. Another TikTok clip showed her being led into the crowd with their three-year-old daughter Stormi alongside security. This was interpreted as them truly not knowing the situation had turned fatal.
