Travelling salesman spreads COVID-19 in China; 3 million people in lockdown as a result

While China has managed to bring the COVID-19 virus under control, the country has seen a sharp rise in case numbers over the past weeks.

They have immediately enforced new restrictions, measures and lockdowns in order to contain the virus as quickly as possible.

Over 100 infections in Jilin province were traced to a travelling salesman who had the virus and was asymptomatic.

B.Com students allowed an individual hearing following cheating on progress test

The Faculty of Economics, Management and Accountancy allowed students an individual hearing to explain their involvement in the case of wide-spread cheating on a progress test.

Their initial decision to fail all students who had taken the test, the faculty is now allowing students to explain their involvement. In the cases where students were in fact proven to have cheated on the test, they were reprimanded accordingly.

The Malta Police Association is concerned about bar closure rules

The Malta Police Association has expressed concerns about the lack of rules being enforced regarding bar closures.

A number of incidents are still taking place in the Paceville area, and the association is lamenting the facts that incidents shouldn’t be occurring at all if bars are meant to be closed.

They’ve reported incidents happening on a day-to-day basis, with the most recent one happening last Saturday night.

North Korea parades, “World’s most powerful weapon”

The North Korean Government has just rolled out ballistic missile designed for launch from submarines.

Leader Kim Jong-un put the missiles on show at a parade designed to exhibit his nuclear weapons program.

The Korean Central News Agency described the weapons as, ‘The World’s Mightiest’.
