Travel safely with new insurance offering from GasanMamo Insurance

Jun 1 2021 Share

Time to dip your toes back in the water, explore those cities and escape the everyday. This year finally holds the promise of many trips that were previously delayed, cancelled or simply impossible due to the global pandemic that spread across the world and brought it to a standstill.

GasanMamo Insurance is aware of the sacrifices made by the local community over the past 18 months following the outbreak of Covid-19. Having followed the effective immunisation programme which has been delivered here, the company has designed an extension to all its travel insurance products which enables GasanMamo clients to travel more safely and with peace of mind.

This extension explains Christopher J. Delicata, Senior Underwriting Manager, provides cover in the event that a client has to cancel a booked trip in the event of contracting the virus. It also provides cover for any medical expenses incurred if the insured person is required to quarantine or isolate or contracts Covid-19 whilst abroad together with a daily benefit if the trip has to be delayed. This is being offered for all travel policies issued with GasanMamo as from 1st June 2021 and can be purchased online from www.gasanmamo.com or through its branches across Malta and any of its authorised intermediaries.

GasanMamo Insurance Limited is one of the leading insurers in Malta with an established reputation of providing stellar service and a large range of insurance products both for individuals as well as for the local business community.

Following the much anticipated release of the FRIENDS reunion, Monica Geller actress Courteney Cox teamed up with singer Ed Sheeran to recreate the famous dance routine from the sitcom. The dance was only featured on the reunion special via playback, and unfortunately the Gellers did not bust out their epic dance moves. So Courteney enlisted the help of Sheeran to recreate the routine, filming it in a field and posting it to Instagram.

The pair got every small detail right, from the stunt attempts to the waves and footwork. It is unclear why Courteney did not perform it with co-star David Schwimmer but one thing is for sure – Courteney has still got it after all these years!

The Malta Under 15 waterpolo national team beat Slovenia 17-4 in their opening match as they inch closer towards the European Championship finals. One of the Maltese players, Jayden Cutajar, shone throughout the match as he’s scored 9 of the 17 goals by the Maltese team. Cutajar scored two goals in the opening session, with the Slovenians landing one. The match continued to prove positive for the Maltese players as goals continued to rack up, with the Slovenians only managing to land their four goals across the four sessions.

The Malta team’s coach Anthony Farrugia told Times of Malta that he was optimistic that the boys could do it as ‘hard work pays off’. He also acknowledged their determination in still delivering an outstanding performance despite lack of training due to COVID-19.
