Traffic accident in Qormi between motorcycle and police vehicle

A 59-year-old Italian man from Mellieha was transported to Mater Dei Hospital after being in involved in an accident in Qormi. The crash between a Peugeot 308 police car and a Honda CRF250RLA motorcycle driven by the Italian occurred at around 00:15 hrs.

The Police Sergeant and Constable in the police vehicle gave first aid to the driver and called for immediate medical assistance. An ambulance convened on location to transport him to Mater Dei where he was certified to have suffered grievous injures. Investigations are still ongoing.

Huge debate on whether Twirl and Flake are the same chocolate bar

A social media user took to TikTok to state that two of Cadbury’s iconic bars, Twirl and Flake, were the same. This caused an immense debate over the chocolate, with Cadbury themselves stating that they are not the same bar, but the distinctive ingredients cannot be revealed due to the recipe being secret.

Furthermore, another user, Dan Timlin, claimed that the chocolates cannot be burned. He decided to post a video to prove the theory, wrapping them both in foil and placing them in the oven. When Timlin pulled them out, they were both burnt.

Moviment Graffiti took to FaceBook to update the public about the current construction and ensuing protest that took place in Dingli. With live footage from the scene, protesters were seen literally wrestling back against machinery as they attempted to stop the development in a field.

With police attempting to calm the situation down, the protesters did more than just hold placards as they joined farmers and residents in the protest whilst maintaining to social distancing measures. They stated that 300 year old Carob trees will be destroyed and a medieval church endangered if the development continues. Moviment Graffiti have reported that machinery left the scene of construction and that they will remain vigilant on location to ensure work does not resume.
