As people are urged to remain at home due to the new COVID-19 measures in place, the weather seems to be reinforcing the decision as rainy and windy weather seems to overtake Malta for Sunday. The MIA’s meteorological office issued warnings of strong winds, especially on exposed areas.

Winds of up to west Northwest force 5 to 6 will move North West, reaching force 6 by nighttime. Rain showers are expected to accompany the somewhat cloudy weather, as if consoling those who are observing the Health Authorities’ advice.
