Environment, Energy and Enterprise Minister Miriam Dalli took to social media to condemn the act of someone throwing away a live tortoise, which was thankfully rescued by WasteServ workers.

Dalli said that it is already a massive problem that many members of the public do not recycle their rubbish properly. However, throwing away a live animal, she said, is ‘harm in its worst forms’.

‘Lucky was found by WasteServ workers in Gozo just seconds before the rubbish was about to be processed’ said the Minister.

Beyoncé got emotional as she broke the all-time record for most wins at the 65th Grammy Awards ever with 32 total awards.

Despite being fashionably late and missing the red carpet and previous wins, she arrived just in time to take home her 32nd trophy.

During her acceptance speech, she thanked her husband, children, and late gay uncle Johnny, whom she had called her godmother, for their support, saying that she wants to receive the night without being too emotional.

She expressed her gratitude toward the queer community for their love and for inventing the genre that she draws inspiration from. The 41-year-old singer’s absence from the event was earlier explained by host Trevor Noah as a result of LA traffic.

She eventually showed up around half an hour late and took home two more awards, Best Traditional R&B Performance and Best Dance/Electronic Recording.

With 31 Grammys throughout her career, Beyoncé was now tied with late orchestral conductor Sir Georg Solti, who won 31 before passing in 1997, and one away from the all-time record.
