Mudryk’s 85th minute goal went down well for Chelsea fans looking on, convinced he will be the pivotal key for a victory against Arsenal next weekend.

The winger was signed for Chelsea last January in a transfer that could rack up to about £88 million.

The Maltese, on their part, exhibited one of their best performances in the Euro 2024 qualifiers, despite their 3-1 defeat at the National Stadium.

Crocs Return With Another Cars Collab: Tow Mater

Crocs Return With Another Cars Collab: Tow Mater
Oct 17 2023 Share

First we got Lightning McQueen, then Shrek. And now it’s back to the Cars-verse.

The Classic Clog silhouette by Crocs has become a canvas for high-profile collaborations, and their latest venture pays homage to the beloved animated character Mater from Radiator Springs.

The Mater Crocs exhibit a meticulous design that captures Mater’s essence. At the front, Mater’s signature smile is expertly recreated with a glossy TPU overlay, evoking memories of his endearing moments in the Pixar series.

Moving down the clog, Mater’s exposed engine, located just below his eyes, is intricately depicted. The brown foam forefoot seamlessly transitions to mimic Mater’s weathered and rusty appearance, reflecting his many adventures in Radiator Springs.

The rear strap pays tribute to Mater’s heritage, featuring his iconic towing hook. A black rubber outsole completes the design, ensuring both durability and traction.

The Pixar x Crocs Classic Clog Mater is set to be released exclusively through Crocs’ online platform on October 17, 2023. As of now, the retail price is yet to be announced. Bed Bug Infestation Makes Its Way To Malta

Bed Bug Infestation Makes Its Way To Malta
Oct 17 2023 Share

France is grappling with a growing bedbug crisis, prompting concern from officials about its impact on next year’s Olympic Games.

Paris city hall has emphasized the urgency of addressing the invasion of these bloodsucking insects. The country has witnessed a surge in panic and revulsion as travelers share images and videos allegedly showing bedbugs on public transport, high-speed trains, and even at Charles de Gaulle airport.

The bedbug issue has also made its presence felt in the Maltese islands, according to Arnold Sciberras, a local biologist and exterminator. He attributes the increase in bedbug reports to the rise in tourism, suggesting that foreigners from infected countries like the UK, France, and Poland unintentionally bring these pests along with them.

Bedbugs, scientifically known as Cimex lectularius or “Baqqa” in Maltese, feed on human blood, primarily at night. Their bites can lead to skin rashes, psychological effects, and allergic symptoms. Sciberras explains that these bites don’t transmit infectious diseases, but they can cause discomfort and various health issues.

Eliminating bedbugs is challenging, as they can survive without feeding for up to 500 days. Professional treatments, such as heating rooms for over 90 minutes, frequent vacuuming, high-temperature clothing washing, and the use of specific pesticides, may be necessary. Sciberras advises against acquiring second-hand furniture and leaving foreign luggage overnight as precautionary measures to prevent infestations.
