Tom Holland’s Spider-Man is set to return to theaters on July 24, 2026, in an untitled project from Columbia Pictures, directed by Destin Daniel Cretton. This highly anticipated film will follow the release of “Avengers: Doomsday,” which is scheduled for May 1, 2026.

In a recent interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Holland shared some exciting news, confirming that production for the fourth Spider-Man movie is expected to start in mid-2025.

While details about the plot and characters remain under wraps, fans are eagerly speculating about what’s in store for Holland’s Peter Parker after the events of previous Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) installments.

Free Parking at Mater Dei Hospital for Outpatients Starting November 1

Health and Active Aging Minister Jo Etienne Abela announced that as of November 1, 2024, parking at Mater Dei Hospital will be free of charge for outpatients visiting the hospital for appointments and care at the Oncology Hospital (SAMOC), for services at the Outpatients Department, and for radiology services (X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, nuclear imaging) at the Medical Imaging Department.

Minister Abela explained that approximately 55,000 people utilize these services monthly at Mater Dei Hospital. Therefore, the government is implementing this initiative so that these patients will no longer need to pay for parking.

From November 1 onward, these patients should present their appointment details, ID card, and parking ticket at the hospital’s main reception. This will allow for the ticket to be validated, ensuring no payment is required upon exiting the parking facility.

“We believe that a government hospital is by the people, for the people. Therefore, it is only right that this measure, which benefits both Maltese and Gozitan patients, comes into effect as soon as possible,” stated Minister Abela.

Minister Jo Etienne Abela concluded by saying that this is just the first phase of the initiative, as they are also exploring the possibility of extending this measure to family members visiting relatives who are in-patients at the hospital.

All 5 One Direction Albums Enter UK Charts Top 40

In the wake of Liam Payne’s tragic death in Argentina, all five of One Direction’s albums have made a remarkable return to the UK charts.

Leading this resurgence is the band’s third album, Midnight Memories, which has re-entered the chart at number 13, showcasing a staggering 517% increase in sales and streams week-on-week, as reported by the Official Charts Company.

In addition to the albums, three of One Direction’s singles have re-entered the Top 40, while Payne’s final solo single, “Teardrops,” debuted at number 85. The 31-year-old star passed away on October 16 after falling from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires.

He is survived by his seven-year-old son, Bear, whom he shares with ex-partner Cheryl.

Tributes have poured in from family, friends, and bandmates. Niall Horan expressed his devastation, calling Payne “the brightest [person] in any room,” while his girlfriend Kate Cassidy referred to him as her “guardian angel,” revealing their plans to marry. Payne’s family shared their heartbreak, stating, “Liam will forever live in our hearts.”

Fans have also honoured his memory, holding vigils and sending his music back into the charts. Among the notable tracks is “Night Changes,” which, despite its initial moderate success, has grown in popularity and become one of the band’s most critically acclaimed songs.

26 Year Old Grievously Injured After Falling Off Scaffolding

A 26 year old man resident of Munxar was injured after he fell around one storey from scaffolding whilst conducting work on a residence’s front.

The accident happened yesterday at around 1600hrs in Triq il-Kappillan Ġużeppi Hili, Fontana.

A medical team was called on site to assist and transported the man to the Gozo General Hospital. He was later certified as having suffered grievous injuries.

Investigations by police and the Workplace Health and Safety Authority are ongoing.
