On Friday, expect thundery showers, with temperatures reaching a high of 20°C and a low of 15°C.

Saturday will offer some relief with isolated showers, as we warm up slightly to a high of 22°C, while maintaining a low of 15°C.

However, Sunday will return to thundery showers, dropping back to a high of 20°C and a low of 15°C.

So prepare yourselves – and if you have any weekend plans, well, make sure they’re water, if not storm, proof.

Trump Vs Harris: Who Are Celebrities Supporting This Election?

Celebrities That Have Made Endorsements in the 2024 Election
Nov 5 2024 Share

The 2024 US presidential race has attracted a wave of celebrity endorsements, with stars throwing their influence behind Kamala Harris or Donald Trump. On Harris’s side, major figures like Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, and Bruce Springsteen have shown their support. Speaking to crowds, Beyoncé urged Americans to vote for a future with “no ceilings,” while Springsteen called for action against what he described as threats to the American way of life. Oprah Winfrey and Stevie Wonder have also endorsed Harris, with Winfrey celebrating her as a powerful symbol of the American Dream.

Trump’s camp, meanwhile, has its own roster of celebrity backers. Tech billionaire Elon Musk appeared at rallies, calling himself “dark, gothic MAGA” and donating millions to Trump’s campaign. Former wrestler Hulk Hogan and Dr Phil have also stood up for Trump, with Dr Phil emphasising Trump’s resilience against political pushback. Rapper Ye and comedian Russell Brand have added their voices, with Brand calling Trump’s stance a challenge to “technological feudalism.”

The contrasting endorsements highlight the divide between the candidates’ platforms and their appeal across America’s cultural landscape. Whether these famous voices will sway voters remains to be seen.

QLZH Foundation Unveils Powerful Men’s Mental Health Campaign Through Video Series

Malta Daily Supports QLZH Foundation's #GlowUpForMensHealth Campaign
Nov 5 2024 Share

This November, the QLZH Foundation, hosted by QuickLets, Zanzi Homes and QLC, proudly launches an impactful men’s mental health campaign centered around a compelling series of videos. Sponsored by Fort Fitness, Myoka Spas, Dr Juice, and makeup artist Martina Bugeja, this campaign aims to shed light on the often-hidden mental health struggles that many men face but rarely discuss.

The campaign’s core feature is a series of high-impact videos titled #GlowUpForMensHealth. Each video uses UV blacklight visuals to represent the invisible struggles that men often keep private. Through these symbolic transformations on screen, the campaign delivers a clear message: mental health challenges should be brought to light and openly discussed.

Why Focus on Men’s Mental Health?

Studies reveal that men are statistically less likely to reach out for help, with only about 30% of men feeling comfortable seeking support when facing mental health challenges. Additionally, 1 in 8 men will experience depression at some point, while 1 in 5 may encounter anxiety. Despite these numbers, social expectations and stigmas can prevent men from speaking openly about their experiences.

Community Support and Campaign Reach

The QLZH Foundation’s campaign calls on everyone to join the conversation, spread awareness, and support mental health as a crucial aspect of well-being. Throughout November, videos featuring participants in powerful visual transformations will be posted on the QLZH Foundation’s social channels, reminding viewers that mental health struggles often go unseen. With help from partners and local influencers, the campaign will bring much-needed visibility to this issue, encouraging men to reach out for support when needed.

We encourage anyone in need to contact the Richmond Foundation, which offers resources and guidance for mental health support. Together, let’s raise awareness, break the stigma, and ensure that mental well-being becomes a priority for everyone.

That being said the holiday season is near and the momentum of these tunes will start to kick in. A prime example is Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” which has an impressive history of returning to the charts during this time.

The song soared to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in December 2019 and has held that top position almost every holiday season since.

As we transition from Thanksgiving to the holiday season, Christmas songs begin to pop up on various music charts in late November.

The excitement for the season kicks off, and streaming numbers for classic Christmas tunes start to rise.

Families and friends gather for celebrations, and holiday parties provide the perfect backdrop for seasonal music.

During this time, more beloved tracks find their way into our hearts and homes, enjoying increased radio play and digital downloads. It’s a wonderful time for those classic tunes to move up the charts as they become the soundtrack to our festive gatherings.

By mid to late December, we see the peak of holiday music season, where our favourite Christmas songs firmly take their place in the charts. Many of these songs become essential to our celebrations, filling our homes and parties with warmth and joy.

Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” often hits No. 1 during this time and stays there, while in the UK, Wham!’s “Last Christmas” and The Pogues’ “Fairytale of New York” also enjoy a revival, capturing the spirit of the season.

In essence, while Christmas songs may not be dominating the charts just yet, it’s only a matter of time before they begin to resurface and take over as we approach the holidays.

With just 50 days until Christmas, listeners can look forward to embracing the festive spirit and singing along to their favourite holiday classics as they light up the charts once again!
