Austin Camilleri’s three-legged horse statue titled ‘Żieme’ has developed a reputation of one of the hottest art pieces ever to come out of the Maltese islands and it has officially touched base in Plac Ducha, a square in Krakow, Poland.
‘Żieme’ has resumed its European tour following a travel hiatus imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic and will remain in the Polish square until the end of September after leaving the Kalmar Konstmuseum in Sweden earlier this year.
Internationally known for his artistic prowess, Austin Camilleri is a local artist who works on installations, paintings and sculptures and has also worked on various books and theatre stages as well.
