Thousands spotted fleeing London after announcements of Christmas lockdown

Thousands were spotted fleeing the UK following Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s announcement of lockdown, tighter restrictions and the announcement tier 4 for the Christmas season.
Johnson’s new tier 4 measures dictate that non-essential shops, hair salons and entertainment outlets in tier 4 areas must close with households restricted from mixing except for minor exceptions.
Tier 4 areas include London and the East and South-East of England.
