The debate over allowing priests to marry has been a persistent topic within the Church, with varying opinions on the matter. 

While the Church argues that celibacy allows priests to fully dedicate themselves to their religious duties, critics contend that it may contribute to issues such as a shortage of clergy.

Local chef Daniel Grech has met the TikTok star chef Donato De Caprio, the mind behind ‘Con Mollica O Senza?’

Chef Daniel posed for a photo with the Italian star, who boasts over 4 million followers and 96.6 million likes on the platform TikTok. 

Donato had started off posting videos of making sandwiches for his customers stuffed with quality products. The videos went viral, with his famous phrase ‘with or without crumbs’ becoming iconic.

Donato had briefly lost his TikTok due to some tension between him and the company he worked for. It was later assumed that he had quit his job and worked on opening ‘Con Mollica o Senza da Donato’.

A stone mason by the name of Charlie Gee made his way to Malta to use the unique Maltese limestone rock to create a majestic lion’s head.

The artist uses a chisel to carve out the beautiful creature hiding within the block, pulling out with exquisite detail all the little edges and curves. 

Charlie is an expert in the craft, dedicating his social media to stone masonry and the creation of various sculptures and designs.

The ‘Ma, Ġibtlek McCrispy’ Advert instantly became a hit around the island, with its bizarre concept and for flipping (literally) the script on traditional adverts upside down.

The creators of the advert, MAKA Visuals, released a behind the scenes video of how the advert was made, in collaboration with the agency TBWA/ANG.

The video features the (delicious) McCrispy burger which, if flipped or bent, moves everything around the room with it.
