With a new month, comes a step forward in the country’s battle against the pandemic and as per the health authorities’ instructions, a number of measures will be eased today. The month of June will welcome the following:
- Tourism sector to restart
- Seated weddings to start again
- English schools to re-open
- Masks on beaches no longer mandatory
During a press conference held yesterday, Prime Minister Robert Abela and Deputy Prime Minister Announced that vaccine certificates can be downloaded as from today. This means that individuals will no longer need a PCR test when returning from a foreign country. Chris Fearne also announced that a limited number of controlled cultural events will happen during the months of July and August; the minister stated that he will announce which events are being considered in the coming days.
