There is a real life Red Light Green Light game in Sydney

A real-life Red Light Green Light game has landed in Sydney, and just in time for Halloween too. The first game to be played in Netflix’s most watched series ever Squid Game, players can actually experience the thrill of having to cross a space with a gigantic doll creepily staring them down. Of course, there are no guards shooting you to death if you lose the game, you’ll just be eliminated from the gameplay… not life.

The game will be removed after November 1st as it makes for a perfect Halloween decoration and activity. Players need to go to 4 Circular Quay W in the Rocks to play, and will be given actual green tracksuits to feel as if they are in the show. Of course, given the pandemic, players need to check in using the QR code and show the vaccination certificate. Players are urged not to run and respect social distancing, despite some players being tempted to sprint to the other side.

Winds and rain showers to push into weekend

Winds and rain showers to push into weekend
Oct 29 2021 Share

It seems as though, unfortunately, we’ll have to endure yet another weekend of strong winds and rain as they persist following an intense week of similar weather patterns. Malta is currently under the influence of an atmospheric depression to the northeast, just off the Sicilian coast. The west-northwest wind is set to reach a Force 6 and/or 7 on Friday, with rough seas eventually calming down but picking up again overnight.

According to the Met Office at the Malta International Airport, the wind will veer to northwest on Saturday to become a Force 5 to 6. This is expected to become moderate at around Force 3 and 4 by Sunday. With a mass of low pressure having moved towards the Ionian Sea and becoming a hurricane, or more popularly, a medicane, Malta has managed to escape the windy and rainy battering which dominated Sicily’s east coast.

A pet cemetery could be ready for use by next year

A pet cemetery could be ready for use by next year
Oct 29 2021 Share

Malta’s very first pet cemetery could be opening its services as of next year as works should be completed by 2022. Animal Right’s Minister Anton Refalo unveiled the news this morning during a press conference, saying that this would represent a big leap in the quality of the animal rights sector in Malta. Having been one of the pledges made by Labour in 2017, a cemetery for pets has been targeted for quite a while throughout Malta’s recent history, and it seems as though our beloved four legged friends will finally have a safe place to be buried when they pass on.

It was originally planned to have the cemetery operated by the private sector but this was slowed down due to lacking interest. With a tender issued last January, this will make the cemetery intended for cats and dogs. Burial permission of other animals is as of yet unknown.  This also comes as the minister highlighted funds allocated into next year’s budget for a commissioned study into a center for reforming animals and whether this was feasible.

Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik have decided to go separate ways, with multiple sources exclusively confirming to newsroom People that the couple has in fact split. The supermodel, 26, and singer, 28, broke up but are co-parenting their 13-month-0ld daughter Khai. With Hadid’s mother Yolanda being very protective of her daughter and grand-daughter, she has allegedly considered filing a police report against Malik for striking her. However, speaking to TMZ, Malik denied the false allegations adamantly. He also stated that he wants to create a space where private family matters are not thrown onto the world stage for all to see.

A Gigi rep has also issued a statement saying that the model is currently focused on what is best for Khai and asks for privacy during this time. First romance rumors started to spread about the two back in November 2015 when they stepped out together at an American Music Awards afterparty. After a rocky relationship of getting together and breaking up, the couple confirmed the pregnancy in April 2020, having kept it private during pandemic lockdowns.
