As the PlayStation 5 continues to remain a much sought-after treasure for gaming fans around the world, the never-ending debate on the controller’s iconic traits is as strong as ever.

While PlayStation’s DualSense controller received a sleek, modern glow-up to keep up with the times, the set-up retained some classic design features, namely the Triangle, Circle, CROSS, Square buttons.

That’s right, Cross.

In a tweet back in 2019, PlayStation UK themselves verified that the bottom button is indeed called a ‘cross’ and not an ‘X’, the latter of which being the most popular name for it for the past 25 years.

The Earth could reach 1.5C danger threshold within next five years

The Earth could reach 1.5C danger threshold within next five years
May 30 2021 Share

Experts at the World Meteorological Organisation (WMO) have warned that the Earth could reach the 1.5C danger threshold within the next five years, a monumental blow to the current global climate crisis.

The scientists estimate that there is a 40% chance that the temperature will exceed the pre-Industrial average countries sought out to avoid in the Paris Climate Agreement.

The WMO has also predicted that there is a 90% chance that one of the next coming five years could be ‘the hottest on record’, exceeding 2016’s previous record-high.

WMO Secretary-General Professor Petteri Taalas warned that this situation should be taken very seriously as it will result in more melting of ice, high sea levels, more heatwaves and other extreme weather conditions which will impact the Earth’s security, health, environment and development.
