Jan 6 2021 Share

Following the recent surge in COVID-19 cases, the Secretariat for Catholic Education (SfCE) consulted with Malta’s Church Schools Association (CSA) and decided that Church Schools will be shifting to online learning until Friday 8th January.

It was reported that the measure may be extended up until Wednesday 13th January if the trend persists and numbers remain high until Sunday 10th January.

The decision was taken in the best interests of the staff and students and family members’ health and safety and while being a precautionary measure, it will prevent individuals and groups from being sent into quarantine while maintaining educational progress.
