The Watcher & Monster are coming back to Netflix for a second season

Streaming giant Netflix has revealed that they are bringing back hit series ‘The Watcher’ for a second season and turning ‘Monster’ into an anthology with two more seasons.

Following the record-breaking success of DAHMER – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, Ryan Murphy & Ian Brennan will create two more installments that will focus on other monstrous figures who have impacted society.

Created by prolific entertainment figures Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan, ‘Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story’ hit screens on September 21st before becoming a global hit while ‘The Watcher’ premiered on October 13 to widespread acclaim.

After the first season became the platform’s second most popular English show season ever, Netflix has revealed that the next two instalments of ‘Monster’ will focus on two other equally monstrous figures ‘who have impacted society’.

Meanwhile, the captivating story of ‘The Watcher’ boasts the show-runners’ masterful storytelling chops, with one captivating episode after the other leading to an ending which definitely left us wanting more (don’t worry, no spoilers).

School van driver who raped eight-year-old girl sentenced eleven years in prison, court confirms

The court has confirmed the conviction of 40-year-old James Grech, a school van driver who was sentenced to 11 years in prison after repeatedly sexually assaulting and raping an eight-year-old girl in 2006.

Entrusted with the responsibility of driving her home from school, Grech would drop off all of the other children and take the young girl to a field, where he would sexually assault or rape her.

The victim had recounted that the driver touched her inappropriately for the first time after she decided not to sit next to him following his initial advances. She went on to reveal that she once ended up with blood coming out of her nose and mouth after he hurled her across the van for telling him not to do anything to her.

The driver was originally found guilty of his crimes in 2020, where he was sentenced to 12 years in prison. The defense then filed an appeal, with one of the arguments being that it did not have an opportunity to cross-examine the victim.

The Court ultimately decided that the girl’s testimony is to be believed because, beyond other reasons, it was always consistent.

The 20 semifinalists for Mużika Mużika’s 2023 edition have officially been announced. A hit from the moment it first hit Maltese TV screens, the next edition of the Maltese music festival will take place between the 23rd and 25th of March, 2023.

A total of 149 songs were submitted, with 40 qualifying to the following phase before the 20 semifinalists were chosen by a panel of judges. Here are your 2023 semifinalists:
