Taking to social media, one half of The New Victorians duo Philippa Naudi revealed the birth of her baby Ezra Naudi, born June 4th 2025.

‘Your name means “the helper”, and may you be just that; a man for others’, she wrote on social media.

‘Lifting people up and bringing joy to all you meet. We can’t wait to get to know you. And big sis can’t wait to finally “tickie tickie your toe toes”’.

Philippa also thanked the staff at Mater Dei Hospital as well as their ‘queen midwife Alison Bonello Boffa.’

Tributes are pouring in for Manuel Curmi, a 34 year old man from Għajnsielem who tragically died after finding trouble swimming near Ras ir-Reqqa, Żebbuġ, Gozo.

Civil Protection Malta and Public Service took to social media to mourn the passing of one of their own, describing him as ‘an officer, colleague, and friend who served with unwavering commitment and courage.’

‘Today, we mourn the tragic loss of Manuel Curmi, an officer, colleague, and friend who served with unwavering commitment and courage.’

The Civil Protection Union also issued its message of tribute, as did Gozo College Agois De Soldanis Middle School, of whom the latter Curmi was a member of.
