The Malta Labour Party has dismissed one of its bartenders at one of its clubs which is located in Kirkop.
The case was reported to party administration, after which, immediate action was taken and the barman’s employment was terminated.

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said that pubs and restaurants might be the last venues to reopen after the UK leaves its lockdown.
Johnson said that the UK will be using a cautious and prudent approach toward exiting the lockdown.

The first Maltese person has featured on the Ellen DeGeneres show! The Maltese, 25-year-old teacher, Ryan Calleja, featured virtually on the show in a segment called, Audience Olympics.
Calleja made some small talk with Ellen before competing, he spoke about the weather and the island.
Ryan was competing against someone from Belgium and someone from Malawi. Unfortunately, he placed last but we’re sure he enjoyed it very much and that participating was amazing on its own!
