The Last Dance: Channing Tatum to return for one last Magic Mike film

In an announcement which shook middle-aged aunts around the world, actor Channing Tatum will be returning for one final Magic Mike film, as revealed in a surprise announcement.

Tatum stated that he and the team have begun working on the third and final instalment of Magic Mike title Magic Mike’s Last Dance, with director Steven Soderbergh returning to the helm. He will return to his role as ‘Mike Lane’, a male stripper which is loosely based on Tatum’s experiences in Florida. It is, as of yet, unknown whether or not Matthew McConaughey, Alex Pettyfer and Joe Mangianello will reprise their roles from the first two films.

The 41-year-old actor took to Twitter to share a photo of the script’s front page with the caption ‘Well world, looks like Mike Lane’s tapping back in,’ tagging entertainment platform HBO Max.

‘Ċikku Fenech garden’ to be inaugurated as new family garden, minister says

Back in August, the public had been informed that an abandoned field attributed to Ċikku Fenech would be converted into a green open space for families. Fast forward to December and the open space will soon be inaugurated for all families to enjoy.

Minister for the Environment Aaron Farrugia chose to highlight that the land is in a development zone and the government could have erected a five-storey building but decided to transform the area into a green space by planting more trees and installing new facilities for children.

The field had never been opened to the public, being linked to one of Malta’s most notorious individuals and being turned into an illegal dumping site over the years. A rusting Land Rover had also been left, becoming an icon of the area which was also planned to be restored.

Kevin Hart wants to become a billionaire by 45 and “it’s not about the money”

Comedian and actor Kevin Hart has reiterated his desire to become a billionaire by 45 and has stated that “it’s not about the money.”

The 42-year-old stated that it is actually about the title of a billionaire, going on highlight that the point is all about the road to reaching that status and how “Black kids that are from where [he is] from, from the inner cities, the places that are told that so much is possible. Well, you can see it is possible.”

He continued by explaining that having conversations, giving information and providing opportunities are what it is truly about. Hart’s net worth is currently estimated to be around $200 million thanks to his participation in huge projects such as the two Jumanji films which raked in a combined $1.8 billion at the box office.

Hart recently appeared in the Netflix drama series ‘True Story’, a thriller revolving around a world-renowned comedian who becomes entangled with gangsters after making plans to meet with his estranged brother.

Variants will keep coming if people choose to remain unvaccinated, says Dr. Chris Barbara

Virologist Dr. Chris Barbara has stated that as long as people choose to remain unvaccinated, new COVID-19 variants will keep cropping up.

This was stated during an interview on current issues programme TVAM which discussed the emergence of Omicron, the heavily-mutated COVID-19 variant which originated in South Africa and has since been spread in various countries across Europe. He highlighted that while many variants have emerged, the Omicron variant in particular is of concern.

The virologist explain that while variants normally contain mutations, the Omicron variant in particular has around 50 mutations, with around 30 of them being relevant to what is called the spike protein; that with which the virus uses to enter human cells.

Despite this, Dr. Barbara noted that there has yet to be an increase in cases or any deaths.
