Between the 22nd and 23rd of September, the Bormla Local Council, together with a number of other stakeholders, held the sixth edition of the Cospicua Short Play Festival (CSPF)… and what a success it was!
The winners emerged among a significant level of high-quality productions, with intense and remarkable performances from local actors and show-runners alike. The winner’s of this year’s festival were:

‘L-Aħjar Attur fl-ewwel post’: Dorian Micallef – IS-SIGIRET FIL-ĦANUT TAR-REGETTIER
‘L-Aħjar Attur fit-tieni post’: Emerson Bonello – IL-BRIKKUNA
‘L-Aħjar Attur fit-tielet post’: Anthony Cini – IL-BASSARA TAL-APOKALISSI
‘L-Aħjar Attriċi fl-ewwel post’: Sara Camilleri – MAT-TOKKI TAL-MINUTA
‘L-Aħjar Attriċi fit-tieni post’: Nicole Mangion – IL-BRIKKUNA
‘L-Aħjar Attriċi fit-tielet post’: Rita Camilleri – IL-BASSARA TAL-APOKALISSI
‘L-Aħjar Kitba’: Kersten Bugeja – IS-SIGIRET FIL-ĦANUT TAR-REGETTIER
‘L-Aħjar Direzzjoni’: Emerson Bonello – IL-BRIKKUNA
‘L-Aħjar Produzzjoni’: IS-SIGIRET FIL-ĦANUT TAR-REGETTIER
The winning production will be premiered on television by DBA Entertainment, with director Jason Zerafa at the helm.
Thanking each and every participant who made the festival’s sixth edition a success, the Bormla Local council stated that this year’s CSPF served as a platform for familiar faces and up-and-coming actors, allowing them to put their talents on display.
