A Reddit thread has suggested that the craving for Dav.Jr from The Busker’s colourful sweater is at an all time high as the iconic wear is reportedly sold out on ASOS.

Is this it, is this the sweater? (Dav.Jr from The Busker, Malta 2023)

A thread on Reddit started by r/eurovision posted an image of a model donning Dav.Jr’s sweater, which is referenced in Malta’s entry for this year’s Eurovision.

‘Is this it, is this the sweater?’ the thread asks. The comments continue to suggest that many people bought their own version as it is already sold out on ASOS.

‘Apparently lots of people bought this, it’s showing out of stock’ said one, going on to recommend people knit the simple design themselves. ‘My granny in her prime could crank out a sweater in 2-3 days.’

Another suggested that the sweater is still available for purchase in Australia, so maybe if you’re looking to feel better in the sweater, try finding a retailer there!

‘Is he stockpiling them? that’s actually kind of adorable’ asked another. The Busker have been building up excitement for their performance this week as they tour around the UK ahead of their performance – and it looks like they’re continuously building up quite the fan base.

Bormla parking area to be converted into open green space for the public

Bormla parking area to be converted into open green space for the public

An area of land, previously planned to be developed into a dormitory for the American University of Malta and currently used as a parking area, is set to be converted into an open green space for the local community.

The public space will reportedly offer a number of facilities, including a picnic area, parkour space, swing set, outdoor gym and garden, together with three storeys of underground parking. The parking will accommodate around 220 cars, a substantial increase compared to the current parking.

In a recent statement, the Project Green agency discussed the space’s different facilities in a recent consultation meeting attended by Bormla residents, business owners and various stakeholders.

The open space was designed to not only incorporate the public’s desires into the area, but also complement Bormla’s history and characteristics. Before the First World War, this same space was used as a market and was surrounded by arches, which arches will return in an attempt to revitalise Bormla’s history.
